We design segmentation as a first-class part of the data center architecture: broad zone separation at the macro level, and granular, workload-level policy at the micro level.

The result is a fabric where east-west traffic is contained by design, blast radius is limited, and policy travels with the workload — not the port it happens to be plugged into.
